Please make these shoes in support of the music that made skating fun for an entire generation of skaters and so the up and coming skate generation may learn about the roots and history of skate rock music!

I was lucky enough to grow up in Austin even though I was a little too young to see The Big Boys while they were around. Like many others who grew up going to punk shows in Austin, however, I did manage to bump into both Tim and Biscuit on numerous occasions over the years and was always made to feel like part of the tribe. Being that The Big Boys are STILL one of my all time favorite bands and are the perfect example of what amazing things can be done when you bring skaters and punk rock together, I can't imagine a better band to be represented on Vans shoes. I may already have a couple of t-shirts from The Big Boys, a whole slew of life altering records, and even a tattoo covering my entire shin based on their artwork, but as of yet I don't have a pair of Vans decked out in tribute to these guys. I do have quite a few pairs of Vans in my closet, a pair on my feet currently, and an uncountable number of previous pairs which wore out long ago and made their way to the great shoe heap in the sky, but EVEN THOSE angelic Vans in the hereafter were never fortunate enough to be decorated with Big Boys artwork. I think it's time for that to change.

The Big Boys were the first band to be featured on a deck,so it only makes sense for them to have a Vans shoe. Thank you.
