BIC students devote a lot of time to their classes and their extensive workload. The idea that a field trip on Saturday is mandatory is ludicrous and quite frankly outrageous. We as the BIC student body demand the right for the trip to be extra credit or to be given an alternate assignment.

I don’t agree with a field trip taking up the little free time I have as a BIC student.

i love these field trips and i think they contribute a lot to the class, but give us some extra credit or something. or make it on a weekday and give us exemption from our other classes that day.

I think the field trips add a bit of excitement to BIC no doubt, but I completely agree that a full saturday takes away from students’ participation in alternate organizations’ activities. I believe a weekday trip away from campus would be fun for students, or, like suggested, the trip can become optional or extra credit.
