Friends of the Bialystoker Home urgently need your help to protect this historic structure threatened by development. We know there is a serious buyer and hear that a sale is about to happen. The Bialystoker Board has hired a Public Relations firm to influence elected officials and the media. We fear that politics will intervene and result in demolition of this important building. As ordinary citizens, we lack the ability to counter their PR effort with anything except our numbers, our passion, and our deeply held belief that the Bialystoker Home is worthy of landmark designation for its unique architectural character that reflects the Jewish heritage of caring on the Lower East Side. Please act now. You can voice your support by signing this petition.

The board is already paying for fancy PR people to push their agenda but we have the real history on our side and we are almost at the two hundred fifty mark. I really need you to post this link on your social media grids right now because when that number hits the officials are going to have a much harder time ignoring us.

Bialystoker has to stay. The architecture is beautiful and they are just gonna ruin it.

Too many developers tearing down our history just for another ugly condo building. Stop it.
