Kishore Da deserves this award as he was a genious. His forte was singing, dancing, acting, music composing, lyrics writing. Another thing, his style of singing is followed till date by lots of guys in different parts of India. He was genious in everything in visual media. He also had lot of self respect. In 1975, he was way ahead of other singers. During emergency, he was asked to sing in favour of Govt. which he denied vehemently. It cost him a lot as his songs were not aired for 2 yrs in Vividh Bharati. He strongly deserves a BHARAT RATNA.
