Kishore Kumar was the most vesatile singer having sung all types of songs from funny songs to sad songs. He has been the only singer to improvize a lot and adding inputs to the songs on his own. He duly deserves the BHARAT RATNA award.

And he added many personal touches to each song, making them even more beautiful. Even during the Emergency, he refused to bow to the then government, then his songs were banned. His contribution to music is incomparable. Such a person is born once in many centuries... He deserves the Bharat Ratna.

Due to political reasons Kishore kumar has not been given the Bharatrathna.Many Governments have thought that if they do not give Bharatrathna or any award people will forget Kishore kumar but by doing so people are thinking Bharatrathna is looking small compared to Kishore kumar.Still it is not late for the indian government to realise the mistake otherwise Bharatrathna will lose its value in front of Kishore kumar the greatest singer india has ever produced
