With Battlefield 3 Premium announced, we can expect many new weapons, maps, and vehicle perks (from what we've seen so far). But I would like to challenge DICE as a premium member, to bring back what I think was one of the most fun additions to the battlefield franchise (in terms of utility gear). For anyone who remembers Battlefield 2: Special Forces, the grappling hook and zipline will quickly come to memory. These tools allowed infantry to be far more mobile without a vehicle, and opened up new parts of maps to explore. No doubt there were challenges implementing it then, as there would be now... But for those of us who bought premium, wouldn't this be preferable to a few new weapon models with slightly different characteristics? Tear gas and gas masks were also a welcome addition and provided an additional challenge on the battlefield. If you feel DICE should bring these items into Battlefield 3, sign up and let them know!
