The Bezri family are being held in detention in Tinsley house with a deportation order for Monday 3rd August.The family fleed Algeria follwing persecution and ill treatment from family members hoping to find sancturary in the UK. The Bezri family have lived in the UK for 5 years and the two children have been attending and doing well at school and are well adjusted to British life.Samia Bezri has dedicated her time helping others by volunteering with local groups and has made great efforts to immerse herself in British culture and life. The family will be returned without any resources to rebuild a life, to a country where the children have hardley any memory of and to ill treatment and persecution if this deportation goes ahead. We on behalf of the Bezri family object in the strongest terms to this, as British Citizens we demand that the deportation and detention of the family be stopped and the family be allowed to remain in the UK.
