Final supporters
I approached them during their January meeting about changing the light so that we can get it first. We do not have a lot of people lining up there & do not see why it can't happen? If no one is sitting on our side, the opposite side will go first.
I went to them years ago & they refused to listen & said it would cost a lot of $ for a traffic study. Because there is new blood on the board (including our former neighbor Mr. Fitzgerald!) who lived 2 houses in & can attest to this fact for us.
There was a study done on the intersection a few years ago, but we never got the results, I am also waiting to hear what that outcome is, they didn't know at the time.

I completely agree. Have been totally blocked on multiple occasions, by traffic coming other way on Beverly trying to turn left and jamming their way into the intersection. When this happens, there's nowhere you can go once light is green our way. (See example pic I took a couple years ago, while I sat and watched my green go yellow, then red, unable to movel.)

I support this 100%. It's so annoying when people constantly block our street.
thank you for your leadership - definitely needed and will improve the safety of pedestrians as well

Thanks Heather for your efforts in "spearheading" this matter. I actually encountered a car that was ready to hit me as I was crossing on the "pedestrian crosswalk signal". I stopped and pointed to the sign and he proceeded to argue with me. Something definitely needs to be done. Thanks again.
