This is a petition to the NHL Board of Governors to get rid of Gary Bettman and to Gary Bettman asking him to resign. He has taken the game of hockey back to the 1930's, before the NHLPA. Back to a time where prominent businessmen, mafia leaders, and others decided outcomes of games and the love of the game took backseat to the money it could make investors. Bettman has openly showed favoritism for various teams and this favoritism has showed itself in the fines levied out against critics, biased league decisions, and a blatant disregard for the sportsmanship of hockey. It is time for Bettman to step down and for someone to come in who understands hockey and can provide a great game for all of the loyal fans that have stuck with the game despite Bettman's tenure.
