The Town of Milton is currently building Scott Neighbourhood Park East (on Scott Blvd south of Main street).  An overdesigned parking lot is proposed at the expense of the playground and splash pad amenities.  The proposed playground is small and does not compare to others being built (or that have already been built) in similar neighbourhood parks in town.  The proposed splash pad is one of the smallest in Milton and is likely to be the ONLY one installed in Scott neighbourhood.  Adult exercise equipment is also proposed which raises safety concerns for our children. 

Please help ensure that Scott Neighbourhood Park East is built to meet the needs of our community:

1.       The playground and splash pad amenities need to be significantly expanded.

2.       The parking lot should be significantly reduced.

3.       The adult exercise equipment should be reconsidered.
