We undersigned public of Melli Bazar, South Sikkim under 12-Melli Constituency would like to list a few points as the general election in Sikkim is approaching near. As a normal citizens we want Melli to be develop and enhance in both private and govt sector.

This will be the first draft prepared on be-half of Melli Citizens for next 5 terms of any government who comes to power.

1. Hospital or Trauma Centre at Melli Bazar. As any accident occurs in and around 5-10Km radius is bought at Melli as it is the only town nearby. The case is directly forward to Kalimpong or Siliguri due to no proper staff doctors and for equipment as a result victim dies on the way. So Trauma Centre is very needed at Melli.

2. Two times visit of BDO at Melli per week as Sumbuk is very far and no any taxi facilities is provided there. It waste whole day if we didn’t find BDO after reaching. So BDO visit is mandatory per week.

3. As Melli is entrance to west and south Sikkim w personally request to shift Tourism Permit Office shift at Melli Bazar. From check post Melli Bazar is 1KM far.

4. As being the oldest town of Sikkim Melli has the caliber to establish Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office which can cover Suntaley, Poshi, Ratepani, Melli Dara, Payong, Kamrang, Sumbuk, Lungchuk, Manpur, Ramabong, Kamerey.

5. Recreation centre at Melli. I see maximum people visit Kalimpong or Siliguri for leisure time. We MELLI can have kind of summing pool with decent facilities.

6. Parking lot should finish as soon as possible as the project started long 5-10 years ago. Till than there should be proper parking at Bazar (Unnecessary fines are imposed while the vehicle is parked for few second)

7. Swimming pool project that is already tendered around 5-10 years and still nothing seems to be done.

8. Cafeteria at Triveni is already tendered around same 5-10 years ago still nothing is done.

9. Jhora from Chalisay & Mazigoan to Melli need to be maintained as the demand is since 1992.
