When growing up it is hard at first, and for some, they make mistakes. Laws these days have kept first time offenders from making it in life. For most Americans, when they make that mistake and the cops slap those handcuffs on your arms, your eyes open up real wide. By the time you realize you made that mistake, it is to late. I am forming this petition for all those first time offenders. I feel that if it is your first offense and you have no other record, that they should seal your record after completion of your probation. Why I say that is, because once you have that record on your background it is nearly impossible to get through a college, get a job, find a place to live and get certain assistance's to make it as a path to keep you out of trouble. That is why there are so many crimes in America. So, give first time offenders the opportunity to make a difference. Thank You
