I fully agree with the petition in allowing an extension of pool days and hours. I’ve seen pool policies from our neighboring apartment complexes with better rules and regulations than our very own.

Why have a lap pool if we can only use it for two months a year?

I agree 100%. Lifeguards are not neccessary. Pool opening shouldn't be dependent on school schedule. Plenty of people other than children would like use of the pool for excercise and relaxation. Extended season and hours, no lifeguards, should at least be given a try. If problems arise, then re-evaluate. We pay a lot of money for amenities, yet are given very limited access.

Please also consider extending pool hours until 9pm during summer months as it doesn’t get dark until after 9!
