We as a community living in the Meridian devolpment want a change made to our “play grounds” in our community. This will encourage out door play, meetings between neighbors and a better sense of community as we watch our families and community grow.

Updates

October 27, 2018

Seeing this momentum grow has been exhausting but it keeps me moving forward. Getting the attention of the neighborhood for these playground improvements is not easy work. I am staying focused on the end goal despite the long road ahead.

Real covered playgrounds with sand not wood chips is much needed for the children of our community.

We really need some regular playground equipment in homestead so the kids can stop playing in the streets.

We need good play ground equipment in this neighborhood at all the parks small or big. I am not comfortable sending my kids all the way to the main park when there is a park inside homestead. But theirs no play equipment their just a bench.

Meridian needs better play ground equipment along with the equipment being covered to protect children and equipment from the sun and heat.

We live in Homestead and would love an actual playground for older children anywhere in Meridian. Something with monkey bars & slides for kids age 5+. We would like a real playground like some of the neighboring communities have.

Harmony currently has ZERO playground, shade or benches in the community. I would like to request an actual playground, not a “whimsically themed” play area that may look good but had little practical use and appeal to children.

New playgrounds needed

As long as this doesn't increase our HOA fees, this is 100% needed.
