Parking is impossible to find especially with the lot being taken away in front of Lawrence.

Worst parking in the country. I tell incoming freshman to not go to West Chester if they are out of state because they wont be able to park anywhere. Rediculous considering we pay double tuition.

My boyfriend parked outside of Commonwealth and as we were in the car, the parking cop pulling up along side of us so we couldn't pull out of the spot. He demanded that we roll down the window and present the receipt to show that we paid for parking at the meter. We gave him the receipt for what we paid until 10 PM the night before (you don't need to pay after 10 PM) . We were leaving at 8 AM because that's when the meters start again. He took the receipt, drove away, then five minutes later tracked us down again to say "next time, even if you're in your car leaving at the meter, I'm just going to get out and ticket you". He was really angry, rude, and practically yelling at us even though we were not even 5 minutes late to moving our car.

My sister got a parking ticket when she picked me up for winter break. She was literally there for 2 minutes in her car and the cop was waiting and writing the ticket. This was outside of Goshen Hall and already the spots are taken by food trucks and there’s no spots. That’s a huge inconvenience for not just students but parents wanting to pick their kids up. The ticket was 25 dollars which isn’t a lot but when you think about it we are paying for a parking improvement fee. Plus if you want to pay for a garage spot it’s 200 dollars for one semester. PARKING AT WCU IS A JOKE.

There are few parking lots for commuters and they are all small with the exception of Q lot. Parking has been a constant frustration and stressor that never is solved and is ignored by this university
