Each building should have a drop off zone which allows for free short term parking when a driver is always present in the vehicle. This allows getting close to a building to drop off/pickup student items. In this senecio, any unoccupied car will get ticketed. The flip side, free short term parking when an occupant is in the drivers seat; 15 minute grace period. Paint the curb “purple”. There should be a compromise between the Borough and WCU, and a win for parents, family members, friends, and students (through use of a buddy system).

My daughter has anxiety and has had panic attacks due to driving around for an hour trying to find parking. When this happens she either ends up being either late or completely missing a class. Horrible wcu for not caring!

Great thought, but the borough doesn't care and there's not really any space available for parking to be expanded.

Parking has been a huge problem since I started tab WCU and four years later has only gotten worse. Students have enough to stress about, parking should not be one of those things. Some students arrive by 8am for parking and don’t have class until 12 or later. That’s ridiculous!

Its not just WCU campus, its all of West Chester borough thats the problem. I have received dozens of tickets after paying the meter and have had to waste my time fighting them all and i have not lost an appeal yet. The borough and parking enforcement are incredibly negligent about this matter and it is completely ridiculous to constantly be receiving tickets for no good reason.

Parking in west Chester is absolutely redicukous ...I had a street permit but switched cars for the day because mine was in the shop and there was one day where I got three tickets in one day after emailing them I had to use a different car.

we pay so much to attend the college, we give so much money to the town for off-campus housing and to their restaurants and bars. they need to stop taking advantage of us, we’re a big part of the reason the town is thriving in the first place. we deserve more respect.
RIDICULOUS
The parking has and still does suck
Allow out of state students street parking.
