Better Economic Stimulus Options For Self-Employed Individuals

Large, multi million dollar corporations are going to get through this crisis, maybe with fewer perks for their CEOs and upper management... gods forbid they have to forego their country club memberships or scale down their daughter's sweet 16 bath. The backbone of this society is the rest of us. Without relief, we're out, and so is the economy rich people milk for profit.

I am self employed and my business is closed, but I still have to pay my rent, etc...

We need assistance now. I'm a self employed carpenter and no one wants people in their house right now. Even when the economy comes back it'll take months for people to save enough for remodeling projects. Add us to the unemployment benefits now. I AM THE PEOPLE DIGGING INTO MOLD AND OTHER DISGUSTING AGENTS THAT LURK ABOUT IN FOLKS HOMES.

We are self employed and I have 3 dependents , we have been prohibit to visit customers until further notice do to COVID-19 and if we don't sell equipment we don't get paid, how the government is going to help us in this crisis? we need help to be able to pay for food and essential, how we will pay for the house, electric, etc... Trump has to include all workers! Self employed and independent contracts make up one third of workers! They depend on that income to support themselves and others! Congress should be ashamed to be so narrow minded/prejudice to this important sector of our country! IMMEDIATELY TRUMP AND CONGRESS MUST MAKE A PLAN FOR THEM-NOT A LOAN THEIR NOT A DMALL OR NIG COMPANY!!!!!!!!

My mother is self employed. She takes care of me and my 5 year old son financially all on her own. She works cleaning peoples houses, apartment, air bnbs, whatever she can to make us get by. She is a strong woman and never asks for help because she has always found a way. But with the corona pandemic she has lost clients left and right for safety precautions or due to lack of funds from her clients. I really hope this gets fixed for the self employed individuals because they are looked over in this proposed stimulus package, yet they are the ones that need it the most. Self employed individuals were barely scrapping by as the economy has never bounce back to what it was years ago, and now this happens and no one is looking out for them yet again.

Self employed . Tattoo artist. Just got out of prison and now can't work and have kids at home to take care of . Can't pay the next rent or utilities. We have been in our home staying safe and attempting to do the right thing by not going out and socializing or spreading germs for 11 days already . I am a licensed massage therapist. I work in New York City. I am not incorporated I just DBA Alex Lippard. Every massage therapist who has an active license and insurance and can prove they were working should be able to apply for relief through AMTA and all the other professional associations. Please help independent workers.

I’m a business owner an getting closed down due to the coronavirus an not being able to get. Unemployment is horrible . How can I pay my bills without an income. I’m a hair stylist an that was my only source of income. If you close the salon down fine jus let us be able to get unemployment.
