We students at the Central York High School are petitioning to imrove the bread and bun quality of the foods served in caffeterias. The past year was fine, the bread and buns were good, and nobody complained. This year however, bums and bread were reduced to low-nutrition and horrible tasting replacements, assumingly to help a few students cut down on the weight. Another problem with this new bread is that it's dry, urging students to purchase more beverages than needed. The thing that makes this an issue is that because a few heavier students want to lose weight, we all pay the price. Another downside is, that simce this is about raising food quality, the pizza is downright disgusting. It's literally bathed in grease and fat; the exact opposite of the bad bread. If the school district is trying to improve the healthiness of food served in cafeterias, maybe they should think about serving pizza without so much grease that it goes through the plate it's served on.
