We chose to join this synagogue because we like it and is hard for us to go to another synagogue that it has been chosen for us. Beside next year is our son's Bat Mizvah and we have no idea what is going to happen yest. This is very uppsetting.

My dear BAI family I strongly concur with this proposal. A vacuum cannot be created by not having a Conservative Shul to serve Davie, Cooper City and Pembroke Pines. A merger would do this and also reduce the number of Shul communities. I feel that this sends a very strong message to those who would like to see Jews disappear. This week’s Torah Parsha is בשלח Beshalach- in part of the Parsha

All matters pertaining to synagogue need proper consideration and proper due process. We need to truly listen to our congregation. The board and executive committees all need to listen with thier ears. We all care deeply about the future and survivability of the synagogue. Merging for the sake of merging does not solve anything.

Ivy and I beleive that there is a need for a conservative jewish presence in our area. If there is a viable alternative to what is effectively a dissolution of our congregation it should be fully vetted.

Review of all viable options should continue, particularly if the rabbi and cantor will remain our religious leaders.

As members for over 30 years, we consider it necessary to consider all viable alternatives.

Exploring all viable options is a good idea.
