She was a Black Woman Traveling the country in a time we were really not welcomed still in America. She stood the test of time. Not only as a woman motorcycle rider. But a Black Woman Riders
I am a Black female motorcyclist, @ 73 yrs old still riding for over 36 yrs. Give Bessie her this honor
This women is an feminine icon and deserves her name to be remembered period. There is no good reason to not have her name memorialized in the community where she was a prominent member and contributed to the greater good of America.
I’m happy to contribute my signature. She is a pioneer for black women, ALL women. Gives me the courage to ride solo.
I have her of her myself. It would be an honor to be a part of this endeavor. It would be even better if there is something to show her route as she traveled across the country.
