This petition is to extend library hours. The library opens at 8:45am on weekdays and not until 1:00pm on weekends and closes before midnight always. Most colleges have their libraries open 24/7, and if not then at least until 1 o'clock in the morning. The computers in the downstairs media room do not work anymore for printing and there have been numerous times that students have tried to print before class and the library has either been closed or the line is too long. Additionally, the Learning Center is in the library; this is where students find tutors. Numerous times this semester students have been turned away because of a "lack" and that we should have "asked for one earlier." Tutors should be available based on need. This is hard to reconcile because Berklee should not expand their student body and then not expand its facilities.
