Unfortunately as of April 25, 2018, graduating seniors of Benedict College who have a pending balance are unable to participate in May 2018 commencement. Students have already started making arrangements for graduation and family accommodations including car rentals, hotel reservations, time off from work, and travel for family to attend commencement services. Students have paid senior fees to acquire cap and gown accessories not expecting to be devastated two weeks prior to graduation. It seems unreasonable and inconsiderate to tell graduating seniors with a balance to the University that they can not participate in commencement ceremonies due to financial obligations to the institution. Please support graduating seniors at Benedict College by signing this petition.
