AS a farmer I long campaigned over conditions in our local saleyards, it was never good enough. . I formed a saleyard action committee and eventually got water troughs in all cattle yards and curfews abolished. Farmers need to step up down there in Bendigo and fixt this issue.

Animals need shade, that and water/feed should the mandatory. Humans choose to stand in the heat and, but they are not squashed in next to others. These animals deserve far better treatment.

We at Animal VCeruelty Hotline have been many times in contact with the Agriculture department on this very issue All animal MUST be supplied with shelter under the POCTA and codes of practice
