The Bendigo Livestock Exchange must provide shelter to all animals in its care

It is cruel not to provide shelter for animals...even if your going to kill them inhumanely!

The least you can do is provide shelter for these animals that have been introduced into Australia's weather conditions. Best case scenario, stop selling animals, if not provide shelter at the very least. Disgusting treatment.

All that is needed for evil to triumph is good men do nothing! There is already too much cruelty associated with the treatment of livestock bound for slaughter.. why make it worse for them- unless you do not care?

I am bewildered as to how this is allowed to happen - it's 2021 ? Should not all livestock sellers, farmers etc be providing shade for livestock and, indeed, all animals? Sickened that I need to sign at all ... sickened that these places are not doing the right thing from an ethical perspective without public opinion having to shame them.

This is horrifying. Do unto others as you have them do unto you.

Open pens are criminal.

This is not how we’d treat our cats and dogs. These animals deserve more.

Of course the sheep require shade being out in the hot sun - its a no brainer..

Of course shade must be provided. For this to even be a question is disgusting, and shows only too clearly the complete lack of simple human decency on the part of all concerned. Shameful that COST is the only consideration.

All animals need shelter when in pens, yards and paddocks

Please treat all animals with respect. At the very, very least, shelter should be provided for them.

Australia’s international reputation for animal welfare is bad and getting worse. We treat animals worse than slaves. Animals deserve much better. The least we can do is give them shelter.

ALL animals should be afforded the basics of life...food/water adequate SHELTER and medical care...

Please give the animals shelter, they are stressed as it is.
