The Bendigo Livestock Exchange must provide shelter to all animals in its care

To send these animals to the yard in the forecast heat is abhorrent.No animal should have to suffer in the predicted conditions. Do not allow the sheep to be accepted at the Yard.

This is horrendous. Sick to death of seeing sheep suffering in the heat without shelter

Its just inhumane- full stop! STOP IT! Its just not that hard to be compassionate.

Definitely need to rethink this and shade and adequate water for these animals regardless they are going to slaughter need to be treated better before hand.

Please consider more humane holding pens....you cant leave a dog in the car but subject these animals to days in the sun no water for most and no shade is disgusting

Please consider stopping this sale on such a hot day, and please put shelter and have access to clean cool water for these animals while they are there, it is simply inhumane to treat a living breathing soul this way.

Surely there is money within the council to provide shade for these animals? Don’t bother with another mall revamp... use the money at the sale yards!

I can't imagine the suffering these sheep will endure on this incredibly hot day. Surely as humans we must move to protect our valued partners in life
