This community needs the ferry route to be operational, period.

Cut the huge salaries and pensions the top people are making and you can save more than cutting service to dependent communities. It is criminal to suspend service to these remote areas!!

This is a necessary service to the residents of Bella Coola. Cutting off service is absolutely ridiculous; it's akin to shutting down a highway because not enough people drive on it. It is a terrible idea. Do not do it.

Cut some bonuses or a high paid person sitting in an office. Keep the route. People on the coast need the connection to the outside world. This is wrong.

I have lived in Bella Coola almost my whole life and wan't planning on moving but in a few yeas from now without route 40 alot of Bella Coolians will have to move out of town... it will ruin our little community

Tour operators and travel agencies from all over the world will lose their interest in promoting one of the most promising tourism regions of Western Canada. This will have long term consequences for the entire region. Only a few would benefit from shutting down the Circle Route. In the long term, the accessibility of the region will have a positive effect on the economy of our province. We cannot afford to make more mistakes based on short term planning. In the end we will miss out on a huge opportunity!

It is unprofessional and nearing criminal that a government subsidized corporation can impose a decision without any public consultation. This is even worse given that many many people have entered into financial committments for 2014 and beyond assuming that BC Ferries would honor their own committments and their word. As public people fund the government, BC Ferries owes everyone more respect particularly given the subsidies funnelled into BC Ferries' executive compensation..

No way closing Bella Coola! This would definitely have a huge impact on the Swiss market and make Discovery Coast less attractive.

The Swiss tourism industry needs the direct ferry from Bella Coola to Port Hardy urgently. This is a favourite itinerary for Swiss tourists visiting the rocky mountains and Vancouver Island. Cutting this route would make us loose a lot of business in Canada. Please keep this service!

If the Ferry will be cancelled, a lot of our guests won't be able to do their planned vacation so they'll get a wrong view of canada
