It is imperative to the well being of the communities involved that the service of BC ferries be maintained. The costs are prohibitive, therefore usage is down. Look at the greater picture!

The Ferry is vital to tourism on the central Coast. Without the just starting to thrive industry will falter and possibly die. or it that what the Liberals want so they can run their tankers throughout there without opposition.

To loose this Service will be devastating to every Tourist Business located along Highway 20. So many of the tourists from Europe and the US who stop at our Centre are heading to Bella Coola for the Ferry Circle Ride. Please look at the bigger picture ! Tourism is very important to the whole Chilcotin and the rest of BC. Please find a way to fine tune the present service and keep this valuable tourist attraction.

The CCC is not only spectacular, it is the most diverse piece of real estate in the whole of Canada. That is a fact. Tourists the world over deserve easy access to this land that we call "home". The Discovery Coast Passage ferry route is a key and necessary link for tourism and local business to flurish. Please, keep the ferries running.

I am a small tourism operator in the West Chilctin and this ferry, even if it only ran one a week, is very important to all the businesses here. I KNOW Christie Clark is on facor of small businesses and I have faith she will help us or the future f the entire West Chilctin and coast will be in jepordy
