Please do not disrupt the beauty of our new build houses for the sake of large companies that can afford the building of their warehouses in plenty of other spaces and for the benefit of our local community and with good access to major roads.

It's an absolute disgrace to even propose this unsightly and completely unnecessary "development" with so many vacant units in the area there is clearly no need for it. Already the traffic is horrendous at peak times without adding further access points onto the road. A lot of people have recently moved to this area and I doubt many would have if there was the slightest chance of this happening. I struggle to fathom the wisdom that would even consider this an acceptable or appropriate place for these units. The detrimental effect this would have on the local area and so many people's day to day lives is so obvious it seems unbelievable that this has not been dismissed out of hand.

Not in front of houses there are plenty of open spaces without building in front of residential homes.

Moved into Baldwin Walk in June 2015 there is enough noise pollution and traffic from the Marsh Leys estate as it stands currently. Putting this development of warhouses in direct view of houses that run parallel to Branston Way are no doubt causing home owners much distress at to what they are potentially going to have to go through and end up looking at. This is going to destroy a beautiful bit of land as well as making David Wilson and Barratt homes look very bad in the process - ruining any sort of reputation they may have.

The roads around this area are congested enough without adding more vehicles into the mix & the pollution that will go with it!

The Industrial Units should be kept in the Marsh Leys area. don't ruin the rural areas in Kempston anymore than it has been already.

worst idea in the world to build these horrible units across from new housing estate, the roads are packed as it is never mind loads more lorries going up and down there! peace and quiet will be ruined for god knows how long it will take them to build ....

We moved into our house in June 2013, knowing that outline planning permission was granted for light commercial right in front of our house. The Maypole Farm now stands there is just about bearable even with all the light, noise and smells coming from their kitchen extractors. That was not what we expected there, but we can just about live with that. However, planning for distributions centres completely ruins the area and will almost certainly impact on not only the community, but house prices also. Traffic will be louder, more Heavy Goods Vehicles on the road adjacent to our house not to mention the fact that diverting the public footpath on what's a lovely piece of land for walking the dog and taking the child out for fresh air. Marston Vale have worked hard to expand their wooded area for wildlife and for the pleasure of dog walkers and the general public alike, so to get half way around, look up and see a massive steel shed, sounds like a real bright idea?!
It's quite possibly the worst idea I've ever heard, the commercial units should stay over by Marsh Leys out of site and out of mind.

We moved on Walford Grove in June and expected to leave in a residential area with rural walks and pleasant views. I fully oppose this development in all its aspects as it destroys our rural setting, creates a blight on the surrounding area, will generate increased levels of noise, air and light pollution and is not in keeping with the surrounding area. At the same time, it will restrict our community's access to the recreational land on the other side of the A428. Additionally, the submitted plans completely fail to realistically take into account the newly established community and the truly negative impact this development will have on its residents. The very few occasions where the plan mentions the potential impact on our community are inaccurate and do not portray a true representation of reality. One example is the visual impact and landscaping plan. This document specifies that the views from the development will largely be blocked by the pre-existing mound and planting on the east side of the A428 (west of the residential development). This is completely inaccurate as the the landscaping is not consistent; in particular, the southern section of the residential development will entirely overlook the proposed warehouses as there is no pre-existing planting or landscaping that might mitigate this aspect. All in all, we are completely against this proposal and if we would've known this development was about to happen we would have never moved here...

We moved to Walford grove in February, I imagined houses may be built there in the future but not warehouses, we walk our dog over that field at the moment, I would hate to wake up every morning and look out of my bedroom window over warehouses, if the warehouses were there before I bought this house I would not have moved here.

With so many distribution centres locally this one in particular will ruin what is a great rural view and a country access to the Marston forest centre development over the bypass. Why spend money expanding a country park area to ruin it with a mass distribution site?!
