This petition concerns the closing of the Belk’s Department Store at Dutch Square Mall in Columbia, SC. This vital store to the community and its people. The Belk’s at Columbianna Mall is so huge that for a lot of people cannot walk the length of the store, especially with the expansion. Dutch Square Mall is a beautiful small mall that depends on Belk’s for financial support. For all the people downtown Columbia and the surrounding areas around the Dutch Square Belk’s it is so important to keep this store open. Please take the time to remember the people that need this store and reexamine your decision to shut the store down.
