Animals are our equals. just because they have 4 legs doesnt make them any different. They have what we have. Feelings. They feel the sorrow, pain, anxiety and many more. I've gotten beaten up and bullied 4 times trying to save 3 dogs and 1 cat from people trying to hurt them just because their strays. why to people do that. It breaks my heart to see people do things like that. Everyone reading this. It takes a minimum of 2 dollars to buy a bag of chow in belize. Which is enough to feed any homeless dogs (dont leave the plastic there, that's loitering) and a small plastic container with water to drink. or you could even give them any left over food. and they'd be so happy. What hurts even more is that dog owners adopt dogs because they want one but dont have any patience to care for the poor thing. one simple act that the owner doesnt like and they get beaten up.
I hope that one day I can walk in belize and see that dogs are being respected, fed and taken care of where ever I go ❤

It's unbelievable that so many dog still roam, begging for food. And dogs with intact balls, aggressive and hunting to make more pups. Please require spay and neuter and make owners treat their animals with dignity.

So much ignorance in this country so sad that not much can be done to change anything but at least the poor animals can get some protection from them. We need to make it a law that you need to get a license to get any animal and be inspected and show that you can support the animal.

Animal cruelty should definitely stop. Its sad seeing so many abandoned dogs here in our country Belize , and not be able to help in a immediate way ! A lot of belizeans take the act of animal cruelty as an everyday thing and it is time for someone to educate the uneducated . And start penalizing these cold brutal acts . And also some people stone and harm dogs for fun , i say this because i've seen it .
