We, the undersigned, are members of Emanuel Synagogue. We have been informed that the Board and Executive Director have determined to make the position of Director of Membership Services redundant. This would result in Belinda Levy no longer being employed by the Synagogue after more than 18 years of dedicated service, during which her caring, nurturing and empathy with the members have demonstrated just how essential her full-time position is to the Synagogue. We call on the Board and Executive Director to reverse their decision and to enable Belinda to continue to serve our community which values her and her role so very highly.
