It's been an accident waiting to happen for years and it's a shame it's taken such a tragic event and the loss of a young boy with his whole life ahead of him for action to be taken. RIP Owen

This should not need to be up for a petition. Fence it of to prevent access onto the weir. I fish down there and in the past have managed to pursuede children to not go onto there but they don't always listen unfortunately. My thought are with Owens family I've not been able to think of much else today.

One life lost is one too many.

We cannot allow another family to go through the pain & torture that the Fletchers must be going through now.

Going to be well and truly missed! Fence would be brill to stop it from happening again. Just a shame nobody thought of it sooner.
