Please do something to stop another tragedy from happening again. This is every parents worst nightmare. Owen was a brace and courageous young man who thought of others before himself. This tragedy could have happened to anyone young or old, please do something to prevent another family from having to go through this! RIP Owen Jenkins you'll be missed and never forgotten

I agree that it is very dangerous 4 children drunk and elderly people so sad the tragedy of the young boy who lost his life 2 save another true hero in my eyes xx

Please look into putting up some fencing or at least a sign at the weir. At least it might prevent some tragedies happening again.

We've been saying for years it's too dangerous and too easily accessible,safety must be paramount now ,my husband goes fishing and often sees kids very young kids at that playing in or near to the water,So too many tragic accidents are happening along here the water looks very tempting but it's often the hidden under current that is deadly ,a lot of kids don't realise how strong it is.

Please do not let this happen to anyone else.

This has always been a big big danger to children and adults I think it's should all be fenced off round near the weir
