Beeston weir fenced off

If it saves a life after the hero that passed owen then it's worth signing

So Dangerous should have been fenced off along time ago and these tragic incidents wouldn't of happened

such a tragedy. should have been done years ago

I think something more sturdy than a fence.

This needs to happen for the sake of other children and adults being at risk of any accidents that could easily happen with the weir open and the way it is...

Yes, it is a really good idea! We live in the next street and every day walkinf there with my kids and always see that kids playing there close the water :(

Long overdue. I lived and played there and almost drowned in the same spot when I was 13 years old. I am now 73

Unfortunately this is not the 1st time someone has died from falling in the water here. It's about time people were properly protected. Please fence off Beeston Weir before another tradegy occurs!

Need to keep our children safe

I hear in the news far too often of accidents and deaths in the River Trent. Something needs to be done to make it saver around the river. R.I.P Owen. Ur a hero. X

Something definitely needs to be done to prevent this tragedy happening again, it's bad enough it's happened.

This is tragic and should not have happened in this day and age with all the health and safety issues

Please something my best friend is gone and I don't want this to happen to anyone else
