Germinal Beerschot heeft nood aan een nieuw stadion. Dit is overduidelijk geworden: De club barst uit zijn voegen, het Kiel is te klein geworden. Dit tracht men op te lossen door het bezoekersvak te verkleinen om zo meer thuissupporters te krijgen, maar ook dit zal snel te klein zijn. GBA heeft dus een nieuw stadion nodig. Liefst apart, zodat het zelf alle winst er uit kan putten. Het stadion moet op Petroleum-Zuid komen, het dichtst bij het huidige Olympische Stadion. Op de Wilrijkse Pleinen moet ondertussen een (jeugd)academie verschijnen, zoals het 'Academie Louis-Dreyfus' in Luik. Alleen zo kan Beerschot een topclub worden in België.
