Thank you for the invite. I petition for it only because this could be a step closer towards attaining meat-free labeling for Vegetarians in the near future. Vegetarians have been tremendously tolerant for too long. Many of them abstain from meat, whose grounds are not religious base, but simply because of ethical reasons. Hopefully, more would come to understand that we are of the opinion that a double-standard practice is a compromised standard that would not put us in good stead, according us but only scant respect. My humble suggestion; why be half-hearted, when with your rationality, you could go all the way, with a little time, encouragement and a lot of plodding on your part for related information that is guaranteed to absolutely convince you of this courageous noble cause. You would be eternally proud of yourself with this as one of the best decisions, if not the best that you have ever taken in your life.

I’m totally support and agree with this move. Government should provide assurance to non-muslim as same assurance given to our Muslim friends on ‘Halal’ endorsement for all food items which they consume.
