It makes complete sense to maximise the habitat and foraging sites for not only bees but other essential insects as long as road safety is not compromised

I support this petition both personally and as director of Friends of the Bees.

Please give windflowers and pollinators a chance. They are rapidly losing all their other homes. It is good to see a council looking after it's ratepayers money as well as looking after wildlife.

please let our wildflowers flourish

If every single council stopped mowing so frequently, we'd have a thriving pollinator population. It's a no brainer!

why are people against this?

Of course adequate sight lines at junctions need to be maintained but this still leaves huge scope to do less mowing, making Monmouthshire even more beautiful, and saving money!
