Ok, hear me out: you know that iconic montage in s1ep8 where the sanditon characters are all getting ready for the midsummer ball? Id love a sanditon holiday special with those vibes/in that style! It would be super fun to watch, familiar yet different and fresh and really fitting as a special. since a lot of characters including the heroine got their hea by s3, a possibility would be to bring these characters back but displace them to explore how they move/interact with each other in a different setting. Kind of: a holiday as a special day in the life. This way we can have the characters back without having to reopen their arcs as such? maybe move the action to London, using the characters we already know and love who have London/beau monde connections to host balls/get invites, so you can have the royal connection of the prince regent and glamorous scenes. then you won’t even need the sanditon set in case its no longer available? as long as most of the OG characters from all 3 seasons are back to keep sanditon ‘sanditon’, that would be iconic. its a need not a want
