Discovery Channel actually reached out and agreed to bring the show to our streets. I am genuinely floored that this turned into something real because of the energy you all brought to this little dream. Keep an eye out for a yellow cab on the road soon.
Whenever we are asked to sign a petition we usually ask, what humanitarian cause would I be supporting? Or what obscure South American mammal am I saving from the brink of extinction by asking for the cessation of the sale of a chewing gum that uses the habitat of said mammal as it’s transportion route. Well, this petition is way more important. I would go so far as to say; it’s wicked important.
Discovery Channel recently expanded its production of Cash Cab to Chicago. I think Boston would have been a better choice but it’s not too late for them to get it right. By signing this petition you will be letting Discovery Channel know that you want the Cash Cab in Boston and that I, Jody Sloane, would make the perfect host. Who better to navigate the maze we call Beantown than a Comedic Hack with a Hackney? I’ve got 11 years experience talking and driving. It’s the only thing I am really good at.
So, what do you say? Feel like giving Boston a shot at having it’s own Cash Cab and giving me opportunity to cut off a DUKW (oh the joy!)? Sign here if you do!

I am honestly a bit stunned by the momentum this has gathered lately. It feels like the dream of a Boston Cash Cab is actually starting to resonate beyond my own head. This is entirely due to all of you who took the time to back this slightly ridiculous idea.

Yes! Boston traffic is already a nightmare so might as well make some money while stuck in it.

Jody is actually funny. Have seen her perform a few times. She'd be great host for a Boston version.

Whatever gets people to learn how to drive in this city. If I can win cash while avoiding potholes and tourists on the freedom trail I am all in.
