BEACH ROAD - FIX HWY 87

We love visiting Crystal Beach every summer. Please correct the danger to this community by not having a reliable evacuation route.

I use this roadway for medical needs to UTMB, traveling from North of about 2 hrs.

Have a house down there.

Please help my friends in Bolivar stay safe. Thank you!

I drive this road 4 times a week

Let's have some purposeful action instead of patchwork inadequacies.

I live in Anahuac, near the Bolivar, and I have to go down 87 when I am going to Galveston and coming back. I'd have to go a lot longer on the interstate if I had to go the other way. Fix this thing!!

Yes it's a safty hazard to the people that live down their. If the ferry shuts down and the road is closed people will me trapped down their.

We pay some high taxes down there. Fix our highway. We have had a cabin before Carla in the 60s a lot of taxes have been paid .

If this is not fixed with the funds from the hurricane devastation that were recently released or the taxes that the residents of Crystal Beach and High Island pay, then that portion of the road will be permanently washed way exactly like that of Sabine Pass area of 87

An overpass bridge would help solve our issues. It should not take 2 years and unnessary funds for meetings and planning to fix Hwy 87 & 124.

This HWY needs to be repaired and maintained in good working condition.

Please get this road fix! Very dangerous situation.

This is an immediate concern....lets please find a way to circumvent the typical process. If we can bring the entire city of New Orleans to 100 year flood protection in less than 10 years, we can surely raise a short highway and protect a shoreline in no time.

Hwy 87 is frequently used by our family and needs to be maintained properly.
