A temporary and permanent fix needs to be enacted without delay. The economic effect directly to the peninsula, the effect of commuters using this route to get to and from work, the potential loss of revenue for rentals and day visits, and most importantly the inability for people to evacuate the peninsula quickly and safely should the need arise is of paramount importance. These and other concerns expressed by those more educated on the matter should all be addressed. Please act quickly as this matter is imminent.

Highway 87, although for some reason doesn't have the signage, is the evacuation route for Bolivar Peninsula. If the ferry is stopped for bad weather, Highway 87 is the only way off the peninsula. Several vehicles have already been swept off the road from the wave auction. This needs to be remedied before someone drowns.

Please fix road my son lives in HI and works in CB been stuck at work and had to sleep there in a convinces store because the road floods. unfair to locals.

This needs to be fix now! People need to get out when they need to go! Use freeway dividers! Instead of machines , labor of workers, diesel all is needed is dividers stacked on each other. Quite sure Beaumony and Houston have some sitting around. It will help some. Move road over two or three feet. DONE,,,,,!
