on Feb 10 2014 , a post in a local Facebook group reported there were at least 10 dogs abandoned in house in Texarkana , according to Texarkana , Texas Public information officer Lisa Thompson animal control officers were called to a house on W. 9th street , because residents had reported seeing animals trying to chew their way out , the animals were taken to the shelter and are on a thirty day hold , at this time the animals are on a 30 day hold at the local animal shelter while criminal investigation continues , in the end , it looks like a judge will decide if the animals are to be returned to the owner , please justice , and no to their return , thank you

It is a crime to leave animals without food and water, and a mother dog trying her best to keep her babies alive with nothing to keep her going is sickening, these people need to be charged with aggregated animal cruelty and never allowed another animal in their lifetime.
