BCSD parents/students in favor of the new calendar with a fall break

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I've been an Armstrong parent for over 16 years. We have enjoyed fall break every year, as a family. It benefits not only the children and parents, but also the teachers and staff.

When the school board has already taken a long time to finally approve a calendar, I feel that it is unnecessary to continue this battle. A decision has been made; let's stick with it. A fall break has benefited students and staff, giving them a much needed break to keep from burning out early in the year.
Furthermore, with the calendar being put out so far in advance, everyone has ample time to make childcare arrangements if need be.

I support the fall break. I feel we could use a few days off in May too.
