Black Butte lake disc golf course is one of the premiere disc golf courses in our area. Beautiful landscape and views along with a challenging 18 layout. Rick Leis started this course with the permission of the Army Core of Engineers and he created a great place to play disc golf. But for the past two years besides in a few tournaments we have seen no change to pin position or other improvements. The man that has been working the hardest to make this course A-tier level is Ron Cremo. Ron has donated thousands of dollars to making this course incredible none of which Rick has paid back to him with club money. Ron payed out of his own pocket to install concrete tee pads and trying to get this course played more by wider variety of golfers. This course has been in an idle state for sometime now and Ron has plans to make it better and to hold more events there. If this petition is seen through it will be turned into Rick Leis and the Rangers of Black Butte Lake. This is in no way a derogatory cut on Rick Leis. This is to let the golfers decided who should be running the course.
