We need Victora Rowell, Drucilla, back on Y&R ASAP!

In 1990, Victoria Rowell was cast as street urchin-turned-fashion model Drucilla Barber on the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless. Rowell became a fan favorite and was nominated for three Daytime Emmy awards in 1996, 1997 and 1998. She won 11 NAACP Image Awards for her portrayal of Drucilla. Rowell's first run as Drucilla was from 1990 to 1998. She briefly returned in 2000, then returned on a regular basis from 2002 until early 2007.
 Rowell's departure from Y&R in April 2007 generated some media coverage and controversy. Rowell expressed her anger about backstage politics at the show, and in particular, how those events impacted her and prevented her from being nominated for a Daytime Emmy. Rowell also indicated that she felt the African-American presence on the show was fading.Sony Pictures Television, which produces Y&R, ordered then-headwriter Lynn Marie Latham to kill off Drucilla Barber Winters to prevent the character - and actress - from migrating to CBS Daytime sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful.
 For me and many many other Y&R FANS....Drucilla Winters was the one character who we could honestly relate to because she grew up on the wrong side of the tracks,but despite her obstacles.....she showed us that anything is possible. Victoria Rowell's acting is LIKE NO OTHER and her presence is greatly missed. CBS and SONY TELEVISION......you have tried to fill Dru's spot many time over the years with no avail.....NOW I ASK.....WILL YOU PLEASE BRING DRUCILLA WINTERS (Victoria Rowell) BACK TO GENOA CITY? My name is Genoacityfan and I will show and prove to you, through the signatures of my fellow Y&R FANATICS, that there is an outcry of support to bring Drucilla (Rowell) back to Y&R. At some point, someone needs to realize that without happy viewership....Genoa City could follow the trail of so many other lost soap operas and we refuse to let that happen to our beloved Y&R,but......we need you to also hear our plea! You executives may come and leave your job from time to time but Y&R was something that has been passed down in my family from generation to generation. It may sound weird, but after a while, certain characters begin to feel like your family. Drucilla was that character for millions of people. To have her shoved off a cliff and then forgotten is truly unacceptable. Whatever issues there are between CBS\SONY\Victoria Rowell can be resolved through an old fashioned round table discussion. Can you try to reach civility for the fans and bring back our beloved DRUCILLA WINTERS?
