As of April 6th, BBC America removed their World News broadcast from the morning 6-9 am programming. This unexpected decision has left a faithful viewer population unhappy and dismayed. To many of us, the morning broadcast has been the eye opener to world affairs and the only reliable source of global news we have access to during the course of the day. Diverting resources to the evening broadcast of BBC World News America, albeit an excellent news broadcast itself, is often missed due to its timing and the nature of the format which often resembles more a talk show than up-to-date news information. The morning broadcast is sorely missed and we beg of you to reconsider your decision to remove this excellent source of news and global analysis from us. Please, reinstate the news broadcast as soon as possible.
