Rory Gallagher should be honoured he inspired a generation of guitarists such as Slash Van Halen Zakk Wylde etc also Jimi Hendrix once said Rory was the best guitarist he had ever seen, so definitely deserves a tribute.

was the best at what he did no one came close I was lucky enough to see Taste at the Kinema ball room in Dunfermline many years ago.

Only recently rediscovered Rory and to be true he is a genius absolutely a gentleman,and beautiful player so much raw soleand sexuality the real deal,blows me away,and if not for him no U2 no Thin LIzzy etc say no more god bless. BBc please give this man the credit that is due honour his legacy,he was one of ours.
