I was a Clapton fan until I first heard Rory in 1972. Never looked back since.
Rock on to the best musician and a wonderful human being.

Rory and his band played huge part in my formative years, Belfast was always their final gig and I never missed it x

That would be a fitting tribute, although I can still play his music I miss seeing him play live so much, no tribute act can do him justice, he is sorely missed.

Yes I feel very strongly Rory Gallagher should be acknowledged at the BBC for all his great music and for the lovey humble Man that he was.

A man greatly missed and still hugely popular throughout Europe. His memory is celebrated by Band of Friends ( ex colloeagues Ted McKenna and Gery McAvoy who toured the world with Rory.
