There is no point in pussy-footing around. Jeremy Clarkson has repeatedly shown himself to be a bully, and one who cannot be trusted not to make offensive or racist remarks.
The latest episode of alleged violence towards a work colleague, if true, deserves immediate termination of his employment.
He has been given many chances, but this is a step too far.

no room for bully's and lazy racists however much money they generate for the bbc
the BBC needs to show that it puts standards of decency above profit.
If the BBC fails to recognise that no celebrity is too valuable to llose then they will have learnt nothing from Savile
We all love the man to some extent but a line needs to be drawn and he has crossed the line.

He is not the be all and end all of the show and his arrogance apparently holds no bounds. The other presenters have shown perfectly well over many times that they can present the show without him. Perhaps the third place might finally be filled by a woman!
