I'm not surprised that BBC dropped Frankie. They drop the good stuff and keep the misery of Eastenders etc.

I cannot believe there is so much rubbish on television and when the BBC finally hit on a brilliant series in Frankie the decision is made to not continue it... Bad move BBC!!

Blending character-driven storytelling with a clear sense of place and humanistic drama that never strayed into sentimentality, FRANKIE was a resonant treasure, a fully realized world whose narrative potential had not come close to being exhausted. It was far better than the television I see in the States, which has plenty of medical drama but unless I'm mistaken nothing remotely like this, and we're the poorer for it. I hope the BBC reconsiders its judgment and brings this series back. Certainly Myles has a following and that could help build the fan base. As the show got more exposure, reviews and fan reaction could surely do the rest. This is such compelling work.
Bring it back I am Canadian
